Recycled metals

All of our sterling silver is recycled, and our 18ct gold vermeil uses recycled gold wherever supply allows — currently over 90% of our gold by weight. Recycled precious metals have the same quality as newly mined metal, with a fraction of the environmental impact.

Packaging

Our boxes are made from FSC-certified card and recycled cotton pouches, printed with soy-based inks. Mailers are recyclable and compostable. We've removed all single-use plastic from our packaging — including the little bags earrings usually come in.

Shipping

We offset the carbon emissions of every U.S. delivery and return through verified reforestation and renewable-energy projects, and consolidate shipments to reduce the number of parcels we send.

People

We work with a small number of family-run workshops that we visit regularly. Every partner signs our Code of Conduct covering fair wages, safe working conditions, reasonable hours and a strict prohibition on child and forced labor, and is independently audited.

Where we're going

100% recycled gold across all vermeil by the end of 2027.
